Yea, I still think Floyd is the best defensive fighter today. Ward is another highly skilled fighter but I saw some flaws against Kessler. For my money, Chad is the next great boxer after Floyd retires.

Dawson is nothing special. He hasn't fought anybody and is clearly cherrypicking opponents like Floyd does that make him look MUCH better than he really is.

And people really need to explain who he actually ducked. He tried to make the Cloud fight happen, but HBO declined it. He's been trying to get Hopkins in the ring for years. If he beats Pascal (which I think he will), he will victories over the top 3 LHWs on his resume. And I'm sure the Cloud fight will happen if he gets past Glen Johnson. So how is that ducking? Or are you one of the people who were saying he ducked Diaconu? lol

Adamek in retrospect obviously had weight issues. And Tarver and Johnson are old enough to know Fred Flinstone. And Dawson struggled with both of them.

IMO, he's on Floyd's level of Boxing skill and above Calderon. He suffers from being in a crap division but his skills speak for themselves.
