Chad Dawson is the best boxer on the planet

IMO, he's on Floyd's level of Boxing skill and above Calderon. He suffers from being in a crap division but his skills speak for themselves.

    Thoughts on this, gentlemen?

Hopkins needs to retire or stop ducking Dawson.

He clearly wants no part of Chad.

ummmm he couldn't even beat a shot 50 year old johnson OR tarver convincingly and he's the best? LoL he's barely top 10 p4p. probably top 20 but not even in my top 10

I agree completely. I don't know if he's quite on Floyd's level defensively, but he's the closes thing to.

Can we ease up on hype like this? You're taking a good fighter and saying he just beats every single guy out there without having what it takes to show for it. Ward might be smaller, but he's just as skilled despite all of his clinching and head butting. And I still think Cloud is a tough challenger for Chad even though a lot of his momentum is stalled by postponing the Johnson fight from that so called hamstring injury.

JCC Jr. is the best. 42 have tried and 42 have failed.

Yea, I still think Floyd is the best defensive fighter today. Ward is another highly skilled fighter but I saw some flaws against Kessler. For my money, Chad is the next great boxer after Floyd retires.
