On the WBO website it states they gave the promoters of Angulo & Dzinziruk 15 days to reach an agreement or fight will go to purse bid. How does this effect the Angulo/Alcine fight?

It won't. Shaw promotes Angulo and Dzinziruk. I am sure something will be worked out. At worst, Angulo gives up the interim title, which means nothing anyway.

But, I don't see why Gary Shaw would allow that though. Purse bids only go when promoters can't come up with a deal

Gary Shaw can't come up with a deal with himself?

Why risk both his fighters fight each other and then have another promoter promote the fight.

      That makes no sense.

All my points that Sergei spanks Angulo. Angulo is **** and Serg will box his ass off.

Maybe im guilty of overestimating Sergei, but i think he could give Angulo a tough night and possibly beat him.

Angulo is slow footed of hand and feet, plus he will find it hard to work out the Southpaw style as he does not have many wrinkles to his game, he can punch though.

So, the WBO has ordered Sergei Dzinziruk to face Alredo Angulo next- does the fight happen or will Angulo vacate the interim title and still fight on the undercard of Bradley-Abregu against Joachim Alcine as I read in your most recent article?

Angulo is on the HBO undercard with or without interim title.

shaw's probably trying to figure out how to get out of this bind and still save face for angulo.

I don't see any purse bid at all. It just made no business sense why Gary Shaw would allow that.

Promoter Gary Shaw is going to have a problem. BoxingScene.com has been advised that the WBO has ordered a fight between WBO junior middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk and interim-champion Alfredo Angulo. Both fighters are promoted by Shaw. The WBO gave Shaw 15-days to reach and agreement. if a deal is not reached, a purse bid will be ordered ten days after the deadline. The minimum amount will be $200,000.
