And there are some fans that just happen to think Manny is dirty. I am not one who does but I find it a completely reasonable question to be discussed given the reaction from Manny's camp.

I think the problem is this topic can't be discussed rationally without "*****" or "gay" or the other BS comments.
Then you are also fine in discussing that when you try to manipulate someone into do something they don't want to do they are less likely to soften their stance or maybe even become even more uncooprative.

Because I think thats exactly why manny's camp reacted the way they did.

The two can go hand-in-hand, it doesn't have to be either or.

Because I'm a fan of the sport I encourage olympic-style drug testing which I feel enhances the sports since it assures there is a level playing field.

I wish everyone would let the drug testing issue go and let the fighters handle that part.
I'd rather be reading up on how people think the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will actually play out rd by rd.

Maybe it's more likely that you are wrong and all of us are right.

that's not the point...this peds issue has grown bigger than boxing in this forum and it doesn't sit well with boxing fans.

No one says haye is a cheater. They say he is scared.

Vitali is a proven drug user.

Pacquiao brought it upon himself when he refused a drug test.

On Topic: This topic is ******. I guess Teddy Atlas isn't a boxing fan then.

I think the thread starters point is that drug testing shouldn't take precidence over the sport itself.

I'm for better drug testing and I'm sure everyone on this board is for it too. But bogus drug testing crusades shouldn't be used to hold up one of the biggest fights of the last 20 years either.

In otherwords Boxing should always come first! Getting better testing is something that is gonna take years to happen in the sport simply because OSDT is too costly. Are you really willing to sacrifice the biggest fight of this generation over some drug test that realistically isn't gonna be implemented anytime soon?

I think thats the whole point the TS was trying to make.
