Yeah Jones would do anything but laugh at Silva in a staredown. Damn, Jones isn't intimidated by people. That's silly. He's more intimidated by the basketball goal.

Silva would knock Liddell out. If you liek the UFC better fine but if you think that the UFC has better fighter's your an idiot. Prides heavyweight divison KILLS the UFC and 7 of the top 10 light heavyweight fighters belong to Pride. Your obviously biased towards the UFC but I guess thats ok, I just thought that I should correct you.Comment

Have you ever seen Pride??? All they ever do is brag that they are fighting in the best MMA organization in the world and some even say the UFC is crap. I have yet to see one Pride fighter come on and say he'd rather fight in the UFC. So I dont know where you got that from.Originally posted by RastaSmoker
Number 4 If they are so good how come they all want to be in the UFC.Comment

1. You may watch MMA, but base on you heavy favoring of one org and hating the other would question your credential as a true MMA Fan. And it may be true that Tito is gone, but then again, his last fight against Chuck was like the MMA version of DLH-Hopkins.Originally posted by RastaSmokerNumber 1 if you really watched mma you would know that tito was gone a while ago.
Number 2 Pride is the organization that carries all the old UFC fighters. Just like WWF V WCW.
Number 3 Pride also has fighters that arent real mma fighters. (Sapp)
Number 4 If they are so good how come they all want to be in the UFC.
2. Unlike UFC, they're not too exclusive and fighters aren't drown by contract like how boxing is run by politics today. And they give fighters from other org to fight Pride fighters. Oh, and you seem to know a lot about fake wrestling.
3. Everybody knows that Sapp is just a sideshow to sell tickets because he's well known in Japan. What, you're going to hate on K-1 now because they have Sapp?
4. Because most fighters (like in boxing) want to penetrate to the US. BTW, Chuck Liddell, which seems to be one of your fav MMA, wants to take on the Pride belt. And he's one of the only few fighters who got balls to call out fighters from other org in front of Dan White.
And unlike you, I'm not biased. I follow the MMA scene almost as much as I follow boxing. Though, unfornutely, it's hard to follow other scene because they are harder to find.

Just out of curiosity, when the last time that you watched Pride? Or MMA for that matter?
Anyway, my second favourite light heavyweight is Belfort and I'll admitt that when he beat Silva, Silva was a different fighter(as was Belfort) and Silva would knock him out now. Belfort recently went to Pride, AND LOST to a guy who isnt even a top ten fighter(although I think Overeem he is underrated) Silva has 10 first place votes for a 100% first place ranking(NO other fighter in other divisons has that) in a poll which included :
Fighters (Some vote every month, others every other) - Phil Baroni, Jeff Curran, Dennis Hallman, Matt Lindland, Steve Berger, Evan Tanner, Sean Sherk, Din Thomas; Dan Henderson, Yves Edwards, Pete Spratt, Frank Trigg, Nathan Marquardt, Duane Ludwig and David Loiseau
Broadcasters - Eric Apple (King of the Cage), Randy Harris - (WTAN Sports), Jeff Osborne (Hook N Shoot & Shooto); Ryan Bennett (IFC, K-1, Rumble on the Rock & WEC), Monte Cox (Extreme Challenge)
But yah your right Belfort still owns Silva LMAOComment
