Wow, get your facts straight. Donaire's team backed out, not Vic's. Vic had signed the contract the 3rd day he saw it. Supposedly they backed out so Nonito could fight Montiel, but no news since.Donaired didn't duck Darchinyan, actually they flew with his promoter for signing to finalize the fight but Shaw changed his mind. There was a problem with who's getting more money. We cannot blame the 2 fighters, they both wanted to fight... it's just that the promoters didn't agree on few things.Comment

You need to get your facts straight.......Vic didn't sign ****. Nonito wanted that fight but all he did was wait....but nothing happened. He was pissed when Team Vic didn't want it.Comment

Nobody's ducking...
My point is that, the fighters are not the one to blame. In my opinion, Donaire is not ducking Darchinyan and Darchinyan is not afraid of Donaire. It was the promoters who had problems because of money. Here are my sources: boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=27665 and boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=27604Comment

As for you, I dont know what your talking about, where you get your sources, but go back and look a few weeks back on these forums and see the statements by Bob Arum. Or on another website what Vic said http://bit.ly/a4hvZOLast edited by Muradyan; 05-22-2010, 02:15 PM. Reason: Didnt let me post the link, had to shorten itComment

Honestly I feel Nonito's age will soon catch up with him (yeah he's still young) if nothing significant happens to his career now and this trend continues. He must go for the big fights, not just some undercard. Or probably climb up.Comment
