No big names are going to want to take that fight when we live in an era when 3-months is short-notice. Khan should just waste Prescott and get it out of his system.
prescott koed khan in 1 round.....not saying , he will again but to think that prescott will be just a push over because khan is so much better now is just crazy....prescott has psychological advantage over khan knowin he could end it with 1 punch, amir knows this too and when you get too afraid of making the same mistake is when youre vulnerable of making it, again.....one loss like that is not easy to forget......if i was amir isay let prescott earn his shot, since he has'nt done **** compare to him....fight higher ranked fighters and beat them and get back to prescott when he has all the confidence in the world....

Should be Prescott, I think. At least Khan has something to gain - revenge. And he'll be able to say he's beaten every man he has been in a professional ring with.It would be a huge motivational factor and would sell the fight.

Also, Prescott is a safe opponent. I know he knocked Khan out in 54-seconds but he is rubbish and can only actually **** for about 4 rounds. So Khan tucks up nice and safe behind his jab doesn't engage in any exchanges, he'll probably stop him late on.

I think he is awful. Khan should definetely fight him.

From a desire point of view. If you were Khan would you want to fight? Prescott all day every day.

Khan has to beat a puncher eventually, and Prescott is the worst one out there.

If he loses to him again then Khan himself knows where he stands.

he can be the worse mofo in the sport but if he has beaten you in the past in a most horrible way, he always has the psychological advantage over you whetehter you like it or not.......that loss is still pretty fresh in khans mind and that affects his confidense in the fight being to afraid to make the same mistake again, thats when khan can be very vulnerable....you can compare it to an bad accident , you just cant go back to where it happened the next morning without being yourself...it takes time ...this is not the right time for khan to get revenge imo....

I just think you have to have the right mind-set for it.

Thinking about it logically and reasonably Khan should and probably already has ascertained he is a better fighter than Prescott. What's more, we have seen plenty more of Prescott since that fight. In fact, we've almost seen enough to know that the only thing decent in Prescott's arsenal is his jab - that he barely uses. The hook he landed on Khan was pretty much a bingo shot, he's shown a complete inability to land anything like that in subsequent fights.

Kevin Mitchell who unfortunately for British boxing has been semi-exposed by Katsidis showed just how ordinary Prescott is. It was so easy for Mitchell to slip Prescotts punches it was embarrassing and it was even easier for Mitchell to counter in between those hooks when he so wished. And once past round 4, the tiny Mitchell could if he so wished choose to be the aggressor and push Breidis back and rattle of combinations.

Breids has trouble with handspeed. Khan has elite handspeed. It shouldn't even be a contest. Not really.

altho i disagree , i see your point and props to khan to if he takes care of it right away to me, mental stability is way more important than skills, etc........ if he losses(dont say it will never again happen), he losses everything and might not be able to get back up from it ever.....only becasue he was impatient!...it would'nt be as forgivable as lossing to let's say alexander or maidana..not worth it.....i'd rather see him fight jmm instead but less so than alexander , maidana and bradley......

Precott is pretty poor but as this is a keep busy fight for Khan that is not a problem. I feel Khan has got used to fighting smaller shorter men and is comfortable doing that with his height, reach and speed advantage. He needs to start fighting guys around the same size otherwise he is going to feel uncomfortable when he does so. Prescott being a limited boxer would be be a good workout against a taller fighter and he gets to avenge his loss. This fight makes sense for him at many levels.
