Montiel should reply by video with his WBC belt and tell Hasegawa "You want your belt back? COME HERE! and get it!" and then the video zooms out and he's standing in an arena in Mexico.

Hasegawa squeezes out a close UD in the rematch.

I'd like to see a rematch. The first one was interesting while it lasted.

If it doesn't happen as a warm up it would be cool if Hasegawa faced Nobuo Nashiro in a fight. It could be a good matchup as Nashiro is a big Super Flyweight so I don't think it would be a big stretch for him to be a bantam.

I'm pretty sure that Hasegawa-san isn't going to be getting this fight in Japan. He'll have to dig out his passport.

If they do rematch, Hasegawa beats him by decision or late KO. He was beating Montiel easily through the first three rounds, but, he fought an abnormally offensive fight which isn't the way he usually fights.

He had always been a great boxer and would only get aggressive later on or when they were hurt. He came out gunning for the KO immediately and it was not a good plan.

Rematch: Hasegawa wins and makes Montiel look bad.
