Reasons for liking your favourite fighters.

Is it purely how they perform in the ring? Their style? Or also their personalities, how they come across in interviews etc.

I like Pacquiao because of the way how he destroy his opponent and put the fear in others. For instance, Pacquiao can put the fear in a man bigger than him who even think he's the greatest ever. Now when you can scare a guy like that, you have to be the FIGHTER OF THE DECADE.

I like the way they fight. Sometimes personalities/public personas can make me root against a fighter, but it's rare.

A few of my favorite fighters did some pretty terrible things outside the ring.

Tito I just love the charisma he had and the personality he brought to the ring. They way he fought, he loved what he did and how he fought damn near everybody in the block.

For me it's their style and ability in the ring. Pretty much all of my favorite fighters are ones that I think I would have parts of their game included in mine.

What my favorite fighters have in common is that

                  1. They can all dictate the pace
                  2. Have good defense
                  3. Can get by, by doing things at the very minimal
                  4. Are good at controlling distance
                  5. Can get a lil dirty

B-Hop, Mayweather have all these similarities, as does Casamayor but not all. Guzman too, but he lacks discipline.

I am a fan of many but I have few favorites. My favorites list is like the vip section and not everyone I am a fan of will be there.

Anyways, it's all about the style. It's all about the way they fight in that ring, the way they move and ****. I like personality and **** talkers too but that doesn't dictate much. It's 98% style, 2% attitude.
