For starters, new rules being proposed are better than the ones in placn. Even bigger is if amateur boxers can do it, why can't professionals?

I could easily say that the 14 day cut off is better then the original method proposed.
Mosley looked drained & Mayweather didn't look his normal self either. 14 days would give both fighter better time to recover and fight to their full potential. The last two week of training aren't intensive sessions anyway.

It compromises the quality of their tests. If they allow one person to do 14 days, then all athletes will want that same luxury. During stages at the Tour de France and during Olympic swim meets, they are testing the athletes. It would be irresponsible to basically regress and make a mockery of their own standards. WADA is pushing for even tougher standards. Yet and still we have people here thinking 3 piss tests are good enough when some people. There is no one on this forum that can explain to me why ice curlers at the winter Olympics have better testing standards than boxers. Taking on a drug test should have been the least of our worries as anybody clean should want to prove themselves at the highest level.

because usada doesn't have any authority over pro boxing so they're not compromising anything in their rules. they can be considered as a contractor...they get paid for their services. and besides they're only doing this ost for a particular fight unlike in the olympics where every sport and every athlete is covered so it's ****** to make a comparison.

See, this is what I don't understand. A lot of Pac fans have been sitting on this board saying **** like, "Pac don't got to do OST, he's just following the rules of the commission", then when it looks like he's accepted the 14 day cut off they're all like, "yeah, Pac is a warrior, man, he just wants to fight. he wants to put them hands on Floyd!" like the commission don't mean **** now Pac has agreed. What is it, they want him to follow the rules of the commission or they don't? Or is it just whatever Pac says they'll agree to and instantly support? I'm seriously confused.

They need to tell Floyd to get in the ring and fight the little man under their rules or fuc(< off. They are the landlord, Floyd is just renting there.
