No, he gave them a urine sample. Mosley said he would rather give them blood than a urine sample because he was trying to make weight. It doesn't mean he was allowed to change the testing and give them blood instead of urine.

I need a real link from USADA. I'm pretty sure USADA said both fighters were tested 8 times each.

Edit: 3) How many times were Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr tested?

Both fighters were tested 8 times each. 4 of those times were blood only. And the other four times were blood and urine.

Why do people just make things up? As of the week of the fight, Mosley is quoted as saying that he had been blood tested 4 times and urine tested 8 times.

"Mosley said on fight week he had given eight urine tests and four blood samples supervised by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA)."

Well I guess the fact that you are only 20 and probably don't know the history of Landis' lying might be responsible for that.

Oh well, to each his own.

Bring up the age card. You're the ignorant one, and you've been on this Earth eight more years.

Everybody thought Landis was clean before today, right?

All of the sudden, he's admitted to the truth.

At this point, if Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Wlad Klit, and all the other top fighters came out as PED users I would not be surprised.

Oh wait, Floyd DOES use PED's (at least one). And that is xylocaine. Which conveniently, USADA does not test for.

USADA is even more corruptible than the sanctioning bodies, because they're actually viewed as legit. When actually, USADA is a PRIVATE corporation.

                Hmmmmm......

I believe there should be a cutoff date however, but if that date is broken (as it was in the Mayweather-Mosley fight), BOTH fighters should be subjected to the same standards. Because Mosley was tested close to the weigh in and Mayweather was not.

                  That is all.

Landis and Armstrong are tested using WADA protocol standards (what USADA uses) and they were tested far more vigourously than Floyd and Shane........

The **** you saw with Floyd vs SSM was not extreme at all...........

Read Armstrong's book (I forgot the title) I remember a chapter mentioning that when he had a yellow shirt during one Tour De France, UCI would test him sometimes everyday to multiple times per day. Even during the offseason, the testers were absolutely ridiculous in terms of the randomness. Sometimes they'd come to the door even when they knew he had a flight to catch. They once even came on Christmas morning just to piss off Armstrong.

I didn't like that the USADA drones would sit around with them for 6 hours sometimes

I don't know how credible your source is, but mine that I read a while ago said Mayweather was tested something like 8-10 times, and Mosley was tested 11 times. Either way, it doesn't matter to me. I just don't like that Mosley was forced to take a urine test so close to the weigh in. And that Mayweather wasn't.
