Bring your plaster Margacheato, Angulo whoops your ass even if you use it.

This matchup gets a little confusing cause Margarito has 2 vicious pwns over Cintron and Cintron outboxed Angulo..

        Triangle theories, gotta love them...

Same people who say Katsidis can't beat Marquez because Marquez has wins over Diaz and Casa... Its ignorant logic to think in such a way. And in my opinion Katsidis has learned and improved since those losses.

In this case, the comparison has some legitimacy b/c Margarito and Angulo actually have similar styles.

Depends on what Margarito we get. If we get the same Marg that beat Cintron, Cotto and was a forward pressure fighter, I think he beats Angulo.

I know people think that Marg gets hit too much but Angulo gets hit even more.

If you want to use triangle theories, then lets look at Mosley/Margarito. An Aggressive boxer beat the **** out of Margacheato. Guess what Angulo is? Margarito can't handle it when fighters beat him at his own game, go toe2toe with him. Margarito can only scare Cintron type boxers, he folds under pressure like he did against Mosley. Also Williams doesn't count as a strong puncher/pressure fighter in my opinion. I do believe Angulo can hurt Margarito and stop him.

Yeah but Mosley's talents and aggression is completely different than Angulo. Mosley loaded up on some well placed monster punches, picked his spots, spoiled. Angulo won't do any of that. He'll plod, stalk and use volume. Angulo/Margarito would be like to freight trains crashing head on and whoever blinks first will be stopped. Should be a real tossup imo.

Seriously, stop trying to analyze fights, that was terrible. Marg can't handle pressure fighters? Did you just say that?

Mosley didn't go toe to toe with Marg, he OUTBOXED him. Yes he was infront of him but it wasn't a "hit me I'll hit you back" type war. It was Mosley's speed and quickness (And right hand) that beat Margarito.

Margarito fought Paul Williams in a fight that many thought if Marg started earlier would have won because he was punishing the Punisher late in that fight. You can't get any more pressure fighter than Paul Williams. Just because you think he doesn't according to you is ridiculous.

Williams is a pressure fighter, that's his game.

Margarito is a better boxer than Angulo, pure boxing skills that is. He deflects the jab very well and has more head movement. I know neither is a great boxer but Angulo gets hit a TON. He stands right in front of you and takes big shots to deliver big shots. He was also hurt by Cintron, Margarito was taking big shots from Cintron and not even reacting.

Angulo has one of the best chins in boxing, one day it will be dented but as of now he will not fold.
