Can Allan Green Beat Andre Ward?

I really feel Green could be a live underdog in this one and has a big punchers chance.

How much of a chance do u give Green?

Why don't you bump your topics and polls about the same subject? You already made this same exact topic yesterday. And hell no he won't win, Codrington sucks.

Sure. I doubt he pulls off the victory, but it's possible. He can use more lateral movement and step into his shots. Try to back Ward up. Jab would work to help set things up and throw combinations in hopes of getting to some INTELLIGENT exchanges. Basic stuff, really.

However, Allan is a single-shot fighter, who doens't jab enough and is often-times right in front of his man. It's not the easiest fight for Ward, but if Green fights like he usually does, he wins.

Dre is number one c'mon man, he's proven it time and time again.
What'd people say when he signed to fight Miranda?
What'd people say when he got Kessler for his first fight in tourney?
            Dre Ward doesn't fail.

Allan has good skills and "TALKS" a very good game. Unfortunately when you see his performances against Donny McCrary (sp?) and Miranda, you wonder is this guy just a average/decent boxer or a guy who can have a bad night.

It's possible and Andre better not take him lightly but my money is that he doesn't. He'll also revert back to that annoying "LOOKING DOWN" while he's boxing flaw he has.

Once as a pro, against a washed up Kessler.

Did anyone really think Miranda stood a hope of beating him?

He is clearly a very good fighter, but his status is built on one fight, the Kessler fight.

Still though, I think he will easily outbox Green. It's probably a 12 round fight but he wins a wide decision. Green is a limited fighter.

In theory Ward should take this, he is much more skilled, but Green has the power.

Personally I hope Green smokes him. A fighters ego complex is not too much of a concern to me, but I prefer it when they don't take themselves too seriously and Green doesn't.

Ward on the other hand is a pretentious git. He calls himself "Son of God"...I mean, who calls themself that!
