This should be interesting. I want to hear about how he ran from eastman, and is a boring fighter who does nothing but run. their only point of reference is watching that fight.

opne of the best thinking fighters ive ever seen.

unbelievable fighter. Probably top five all time middle for my money behind (in no order) Armstrong, Monzon, hagler, Sugar Ray R.

the epitomy of professionalism.

to be on that shape at 40 yrs old is nothing short of extraordinary.

blokes an inspiration turning his life aroudn like that and I also belive if he had fought RJJ later on in his career say when he fought Tito, he would have handed him his ass.

mate i may shout for the brits, but i know true class when i see it.
mab, morales, nard, mayweather, zoo, all time greats one and all.

i hate mayweather as well but great skills reminds me of a more exciting pernell whitaker buit still COME ON ARTURO!

I dont know any europeans who hate Nard but he's overated, he's got a lot of ability but hasnt really fought anyone to prove it and the way he bitched out against a fighter like Eastman is proof he cant cut it anymore, Eastmans nothing more than a heavy handed fighter with little or no skill.

He fought DLH who's is no way near as big as him, remember Hopkins started his career at light heavy and DLH started at super feather!! Tito was a good win even though Hopkins is naturally bigger, and Roy Jones owned him.

I think if Calzaghe was American and Hopkins was Welsh the roles would be reversed, Calzaghe's never even looked like losing and he's fought some good fighters during his career. I have no doubt that Calzaghe would hand Hopkins a beating if they fought and i think a lot of people who see both fighters on a regular basis(mainly europeans) know this too and are a little pissed off that Hopkins can fight the same level of opponents as Calzaghe and get twice the respect for doing it.
