this forum does make me laugh at times. i remember just a few weeks back, khan was a fraud and a bum for "ducking" maidana, there was literally no one giving him props, then he was going to get schooled by malignaggi badly, now all of a sudden i read these threads and its like most of you love him now and hes a real prospect. after seeing one fight and some youtube clips? i do chuckle at times. he did beat a slightly above average fighter on the weekend, but as someone said "if you bring a blunt knife along to fight eventually its going to catch up with you" which is true of malignaggi.....keep your powder dry guys on khan, he needs a proper test and its not maidana unfortunately, that will help him psychologically, but its not the test he really needs, which is fighting someone with similar skills to see how he protects that chin and really fares......until then you are all going to buy into the khan hype machine if your not careful!

Amirs khan chin is the only thing that is his big potential downfall. People say that you cannot put muscles on a chin but i do think you can improve it to ceartin extent. I think defo with experience you either lose your punch resistance or gain it. FLoyd does this training with his neck and i think other then the castillo fight he has never been down. If khan beats madaina and takes a few power shot without dropping i think he can go on to beat bradely and devon alexander. Right now the only thing that bradley and devon have are RING IQ and exp. Amir khan has the most natural talent he just needs to fight quality oppostion like madaina and ortiz and learn new skills and improve footwork. He needs to be more fluid in his movement because at times he is a bit rigid and lacks head movement.

Ricky brought more Brits across the pond than Mike Tyson brought Americans over seas. I just don't want to hear it. F'n ridiculous.
Ricky in his prime would have mollested Kahn and drank a Guiness afterwards in the dressing room.
The Tszyu that Hatton beat up would have sparked Kahn easy. I just don't got time for this.
I truly hope Hatton comes back and dedicates himself to teaching Amir a lesson. Similar to what Prescott did.
A Hatton liver shot would make Kahn retire.

I get the feeling that Khan is 'caught up' in that victory over Malignaggi. If he is serious about fighting Maidana, then thats fine, keeping talking.
But, if when the dust has settled and he starts having second thoughts or his team don't want it, he's gona look bad. Which will basically give the haters more reason to hate!
