Why was Khan so marked up?

Oh right, I forgot about all the oher boxers who get it but don't get marked up like he did for the first time in his career against alight puncher in a fight everyone said he won with ease.

So what? Some people mark up in certain fights?

Calzaghe got marked up against B-Hop and it was hardly a war, some fighters go through wars and come out looking OK. Margarito after the Mosley and Cotto fights had a bit of swelling but not that much..

I've seen much worse from much less punishment, Khan ate some jabs. Hatton was marked up after the Paulie fight from eating some jabs in the early going....

I'm pretty sure that was after Lazcano. Like i said, Ricky gets marked up always.

I'll check, I don't believe that's Lou. As i said, even if Hatton fought me he'd still get marked up.

Had Khan fought Malignaggi like he did Kotelnik, his face wouldn't have been that marked up.

Khan had no respect for Paulie's punching power, and therefore took more risks, and got hit in the process, end of.

I expect Khan will fight Maidana like he did Kotelnik.

I'll have to review the fight instead of believe Khan, the way people on here do when he "called out" Maidana lol.

Things got a little rough at times when Paulie was trying to muscle him. He also ate a few clean shots. I'm sure it was a headbutt though.

Paulie isn't a power puncher but he does throw stingers which can cause bruises or cuts. In the first fight he cut Juan Diaz in the 2nd round. Khan didn't sustain a cut I think, but he did look like he'd been in a fight. Should add to Khan's ring experience, so a good sign imo. The Salita 1st round KO was too quick and comfortable so it didn't really improve Khan's experience level.
