Khan does not hit as hard as Maidana. I can see Khan dropping Maidana after an accumulation of punches but not a single shot. Maidana will look at Khan as a softer touch than Ortiz,will get his hands up and walk Khan down to land heavy shots. He is going to get hit but will land. Much is made of Khan's skills but really it is his hand speed that is his main asset and flaters the rest of his game. He got hit a lot by Malignaggi,he is not as elusive as people give him credit for and I do see Maidana being able to land.

That's not crazy at all. Maidana will be getting hit a lot because of Khan's speed. Unless Khan slips up and gets careless and battered, I think Khan would win fairly easily.

Khan was able to beat Paulie at his own game....counter-punching and actually boxing....Khan has power to compliment his boxing abilities....Roach has been a blessing for Khan in teaching him the little nuances in the ring upping his IQ.....all that = Maidana being stopped by the 8th round.

I can't see the fight happening. GBP want to make money out of Khan and will not take any risks. They are looking at smaller fighters like Katsidis and Marquez.

Maidana superb power, and could ko you with it. But I don't think that he is as polished (technically) as Khan. Maidana in my opinion is not a great boxer, but his power gets him by. I to think that Khan has a chance because he will be hitting Maidana at will. I don't think that Maidana has a defense that will prevent Khan from getting in his shots. Khan can put some nasty combos together and tag you ass. Paulie has a better chin then Maidana and look what Khan did to him. I don't think that Maidana has a great chin like Paulie, thus I think that Amir has a chance to ko, or stop his ass. But the same Khan that fought Paulie won't show up against Maidana imo. I think that Khan that fought Kotelnik will show up. He will stick and move for the whole 12 rounds. He knows his glass chin will shatter if Maidana touches it with his power. Thus if this is the scenerio then I think Khan will win a ud. If the Khan that fought Paulie shows up then I think he can get Maidana out of there. Althought it would be more of a risk for him because there is the chance that he gets tagged, thus I think that he will fight Maidana cautiously.

I think Khan power in severely underrated. I just cant see maidana surviving an accumulation of shots to the head. Something that victor ortiz dosent have the handspeed to do.
