Ward V.S. Hatton

Irish Micky Ward is a legend and would not get knocked out by Hatton. Nothing Hatton can throw would drop Ward. Ward is the toughest fighter I have seen in years. Whethere Micky wins or looses, he would beat the living **** out of Hatton for 12 rounds. Hatton wants to fight dirty and throw body shots bombs... welcome to Mick Wards world

Legend in a journeyman sense I should have said. He is a legend not because of his amazing boxng skills, but because of the beatings he could take and how ****ing tough he was. He could dish out just as much as he recieved. Hatton Im not downplaying but Ward is a beast. he fought his whole career at 140 and we all know that liver shot is one of the nicest punchers to date. Also think about whos a harder body puncher and puncher overall? Im not saying he would win but like i said before he would beat the living **** out of Hatton for 12 rounds and as his career went he would take a beating in return.

If Hatton can take Tszyu's punches than I don't think he will have any problem taking Ward's punches. Ward is tough but he couldn't keep up with the workrate Hatton brings. Ward is the perfect opponent for Hatton's style.

I've watched Ward and Hatton before to consider how they would fair if they ever matched up and IMO Wards defence is total wrong for facing a fighter like Hatton. He keeps his elbows too high which leaves his body open and his static defence wouldnt be very effective for someone who switches from hooks to uppercuts very well. Ward has always been know cover up and then fire back when the opponents finished but someone with the work rate of Hatton doesnt finish because he's allows throwing punches.

It would be a great fight because both men are warriors and they wouldnt need to go looking for each other.

And even if you consider Ward to have a better chin and body attacks, Hattons well know for being very good at both himself.

I have a lot of respect for Ward, its a shame this fight wont happen.
