i personally never thought he sounded like a "****" per se, however, his diction/voice might raise some eyebrows (particularly since he's a boxer)

i recall him being interviewed and addressing this issue, anyone remember when and where this happened? i forgot exactly what he said

You know why he sounds like that? You want to know why Juan Diaz talks exactly the same way too now?

It's because when Oscar was fighting he had a Public Relations specialist designed to make him more marketable. And that PR person taught Oscar to speak like that.

And guess what, Ortiz and Diaz have the same PR specialist. I personally can't stand the way any 3 of them talk, everything they say sounds like they said over and over to a mirror.
