    Although Whitaker was past his prime, thats one of my favorite fights to watch.

          I think at one point of the fight Pernell had Trinidad a lil hurt on the body at one point

              He did (around the seventh?) and I think he really got himself into good shape. But Pea was so past-it, man. Seeing him be so flat-footed was just strange. And he was like that throughout much of his welter reign. Once everything else started slowing down, it was all over. Credit to Tito though. He fought a smart, smart bout.

                Whitaker's defense in that fight was still pretty damn good. I remember at one point in this fight Whitaker sits on the bottom rope and literally evades like 4-5 of Tito's power punches. Sweetpea was the man!
