If anyone falls into a trap, it will be Pac. Even Cotto all messed up touched his face enough to cause some damage, Floyd will hit him even more, at will, when least expected.
I've got Floyd in a tough decision after a rough 4-5 first rounds, after that he will see the pattern in Pac.

no, manny will pressure pbf for 12 rds, and throw 1k plus punches. he will hit floyd all over, arms, shoulders, etc, andx will pile up points, and will douuble pbf's output....possibly.....he can win a ud as well, or maybe he will get pbf out of there? maybe floyd will dictate the fight and make manny fight in a manner condusive to pbf? who knows, that's why this fight must happen!

You need to rewatch that fight..
The two times Hatton TRIED to back up Pac..he wasn't controlling the fight..each time he would have to step a few and plant his feet..his feet have to be planted.Last edited by American Dream; 05-19-2010, 10:10 AM.

The great thing about this fight is that both of them can win in several ways I believe. I have Floyd but wouldn't be shocked if Pacquiao did it.

I actually think Pacquiao can win a S.D or a U.D, so I disagree in that Pacquiao only has a certain amount of time to beat Floyd.

However the pac that fought JMM and current Pacquiao is a whole nother beast...

These 2 are critical for Pac beating Floyd.
First, if Pac able to walk through Floyd's punches. Pac will lovely get tagged by one in a exchange of two or three of his own.
Second, if Pac able to hurt Floyd with his punches then the danger of knocking down or knocking out Floyd will be there from round 1 to 12.
Anyway, this is the fight Pac could lose.

Marquez, despite his counter punching abilities, was a warrior. He went to war with Pacquiao with counter punching as his main weapon. He didn't mind for the most part getting hit by Pac because he was confident in his counter punching being able to back Pac off, and he threw those counter punches in combos that hurt Pac.
Mayweather looks to counter punch off of his opponent missing, and tries to create those opportunities with his defense, throwing single shots at a time. It's completely different.
