    Sadam Ali - Future Champion

I know everyone is real big on Jose Benavidez and Frankie Gomez, but watch out for Sadam Ali. He's around 3 years older than the other two, but he's a superb prospect none the less. I'm actually higher on him than the other two. More power than Gomez and slicker than Benavidez, who I feel tends to fight flat footed.

5:19 is the mark he lands the KO. Should be an eventful decade.

By the way. Sadam is a Brooklyn native, and is a ****** fighter.

He has a bad habit of everytime he throws a punch/ combination, both his gloves come together and his hands are a good 5-6 inches away from his chin. I was quick to notice that. Other then that he's pretty good.

Sadam deff has skills...I've watched him spar a few times...he should catch some promoter's eye soon...he works with Andre Rozier...

Some people I know tell me his father may price Sadam out of certain deals with promoters...don't know if its true though...he fights next week I believe, I know before the end of the month...

Very impressive. Do you know the size of this dude? Seems big, and it isn't on Boxrec.

He turned pro earlier this year. April I believe. He only has two pro bouts. Both KO victories.

He currently fights at JWW- or 140 lbs.

I meant if you knew his height. Benavidez is a big dude, and Sadam and him will fight eventually, so I was wondering if you knew how tall he was.

I wonder whats with the slow start though, and why he's no longer with Dibella.

The kid def has skills but to be honest as far as NY fighters go I think Mike Faragon or even Darnell Giles were far ahead of him when they were young pros.

Those are upstate fighters if anyone was wondering. Giles I heard hasnt been training seriously but when he came out of the ameatures as the #1 in the country he was way better than Ali. Faragon is still undefeated. For those in the NY area, Faragon and Ali fight the 21st on Bowery, I'll be there.

Word is his father prices himself out of promotional deals...some think itz cuz of his nationality(doubt it)...

140 and 147 are hot divisions right now so he'll probably have to do some impressive stuff to get noticed...I think he lost some buzz since the Olympic Team did awful...

Sean Monaghan who's from my gym makes his pro debut this Friday on the Briggs card...
