At 160 Pounds today I think Floyd wins easily. Since Hopkins would be drained and 46.

A Prime Hops at 160 is a different story.

So why was Shane not awarded the Ring Belt?

Because, The Ring is ******. They said cuz P-Will had something to say about it. But, if you're really unbiased it made no sense. P-Will at the time had two fights out of the WW and gave up his WW belt. And, The Ring dropped P-Will from their WW rankings.

But, IMO they only said that cuz they didn't really wanted to award Marg the ring belt. Since he went in on Oscar De la Hoya. For ducking him and picking on Pac. I think Oscar had something to do with it. But, that my theory because it made no sense not to award the winner the ring title.

But, here is the link of the ring ratings at the end of the 2008 going into 2009. Remember Marg and Shane fought at the start of 2009 in January.

Look at their rankings. Marg was coming off a win over the #2 guy and was fighting the #3 guy. The Ring belt should of been on the line. But, whatever it wasn't but the lineal title was on the line.

CyberboxingZone also recognized Shane as the lineal champion after the Marg fight. And, now they recognize Floyd since Floyd beat Shane. BoxingScene also recognizes Floyd as the lineal champ.
