Williams was forced out because he couldnt get a fight. Just because he had a couple fights at a higher weight doesnt mean he suddenly wasnt one of the best welterweights in the world.

The lineal title decides who the man is at that weight. How can that be decided by a dude that lost to Cotto and another that lost to Williams?

I made this exact thread about three weeks ago and got called a moron. I am glad to see others see the potential of this great fight. The 24-7 for this would be soooo good. and I am thinking Hopkins may hit a tad to hurt for lil Floyd, but if any small guy can beat Hopkins, Floyd would def be the one.
