Maybe not Tyson, but you said that Jones, Jr., Sugar Ray Robinson, De La Hoya and Ali were pure boxers and then just insisted that EVERYONE's definition of a "pure boxer" was wrong. It's like if I just decided that green was red and then said that everyone else was a simpleton.

        • lol so what if mike isnt a pure boxer?? he could literally sell PPV's of himself taking a crap on live tv and people would still buy it ...as for the rest of em when their up and coming they would most likely fight anyone..but when it comes to the big fights and winning the world title belts then the money, opponents, blah blah your ducking so and so fighter comes in which makes it complicated for some boxers..not all pure boxers ruin the sport..

          • We got boxers, sluggers, brawlers, all the fighters I listed fall into the category of boxers, pure or not is your opinion, but me, I see a basic style similarity of those who dominate this sport.

            • I can think of literally no similarities in the styles of Roy Jones, Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya.

              • Oh yeah by the way, Larry Holmes, Lennox Lewis, Wlad Klitscho, I would also call them dominant heavyweights with a similar style of boxing, something pure about it.
