Can we keep it real here. If Cotto doesnt land a bomb. Khan will beat the utter **** out of him.

Cotto would shatter that glass chin into a million shards.

I can tell you first off, Khan looked really impressive against Malignaggi. Though he's getting better in every fight, his chin is still something that's in question, and though Cotto has taken some beatings, one of the last things that leaves a fighter is his punching power. Now he'd obviously would need to land first, but I don't think Khan yet is a master defender to where Cotto would not land at all or consistently.

Though I gotta see how Cotto looks in 2 weeks, I'd have to ride with Cotto for now by mid-late stoppage. I've noticed since Khan has been with Freddie that they haven't thrown any decent punchers at him (which kinda makes sense since they wanna develop him). But similar to Cotto after he was rocked at 140lbs and showed he could take shots at 147, we have to see how things pan out for Khan when he steps in with a puncher (which by seeing the 140lb division now could be very soon).

Cotto doesn't need to land a bomb. He needs to land a solid shot.

Seriously, once Khan feels the power of Cotto's jab, he's gonna be on edge.

depends on how amir "lil erik morales" khan would approach the fight. box or pressure. amir has a long ass jab, that can be affective against cotto. imo miguel is too strong for him..late stoppage.

It's possible, but Cotto's never been one to land bombs and stop a fighter, he has accumulative punching power. So I don't think 1 punch is going to do it more than Cotto being consistent. Khan on the other hand is younger, fresher, and faster, but hasn't had his chin tested at even 140lbs. I wonder if Khan has the ability to adjust during the fight once he feels a shot he's never felt before.

But like I said, I have to see how Cotto looks June 5th.

How do you get exposed in a close fight where your opponent could have been using bricks in their wraps? Or does Margarito only try to cheat towards 37 year olds? How come Margarito never beat anyone into kneeling like Cotto did that night? **** you for supporting a dirty cheater.

Khan's fast as hell, and I think the speed = power argument could be used to say that he'd hurt Cotto, who's been rocked by a good amount of people and KO'd twice.

That being said, though, I think Cotto's just too strong for him and once he catches him flush Khan might go into panic mode.
