USADA/WADA protocol is a little extreme, but overall the addition of random blood and urine test would be good for the sport and make it year round.
Sauerland and ARD actually have a good idea, promoters can do the same.
In January German public television network ARD extended its contract with Sauerland Boxing through 2015 and added a stipulation that all of the boxers in the Berlin-based boxing stable, and their opponents, undergo Olympic Style drug testing as a condition of fighting on the network.

Sauerland's idea is the way to go IMO, if they wanted a clean sport.Comment

Floyd is only looking out for himself...He could careless about other guys doping as long he's not fighting them..But he has the right to look out for his own ass..Comment

I see this line a lot from the Floyd fans...
"...I can't believe you are against OST/ So you against better testing?...yada yada so on so forth"
Prolly some of you peeps see this as well, they pop out after a good/bad arguement from pacstans/floydstans.
But really now, why do Floyd stans/fans/fanatics/****riders/nuthuggers say this all the time? Is this an easy way out from a good arguement with Pacfans? Do you really stand by Floyd saying he's cleaning up the sport? Or you guys just wanna say it and bask in the ambience? LOL.

Saying that the fighters should just abide by the commission just doesn't apply to this situation. 1st of all, specifics are often negotiated on a fight by fight basis in boxing. Especially the big fights. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather made requests that are ou tside of the commission's standard rules, so what's the point of even making that argument?Comment

I'm still waiting on all the threads prior to 2009 that talk about how boxing needs better testing.
