  • Class "P" figther

Class "P" fighter Marquez is trying hard to make a come back after a big humiliation. Friendly advise amigo...forget Pacman, he can destroy you and might even disable you permanently. The strength of Manny Pacquiao is unbelievable at 140 - 145 lbs. You saw what he did to bigger fighters like David Diaz, gold plated Oscar Delia Hoya, Ricky "GotHit" Hatton, Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey. If you think that you can beat those guys...then somebody should wake you up because nobody will listen to you. If you are just after the money you can make...forget it because you will also lose the money you earned for your medical bills.

    • Arum made this comment during the Clottey fight. Remember how people ***** about Manny being a LW beating WW's. A fight with JMM at 135 is much bigger than a fight with Clottey. They could've done one million and sell 55K tickets.

Alex Ariza said a few months ago Manny can easily make 135. Manny has to eat 5 times a day and take special shakes to fight at WW.

“He was having trouble making 130 and after the Marquez fight (on March 15, 2008), he wanted to go to lightweight (and its 135-pound limit,” said the legendary Bon Arum. “But he’s really a 140-pounder now. He fought Hatton at 138. His most comfortable weight now is 140, but if there were some kind of a huge fight at 135, he could make that if he had to.

      • Personally, I thought Pacman won both fights against Marquez although both were close and could have gone either way. But that being said, Pacman has moved far beyond JMM. Manny has gotten better with each fight after JMM and JMM has slipped a little. The fact that light hitting Juan Diaz rocked him in their first fight confirms to me that Pacman would demolish him at 147. JMM should stay at lightweight and battle Juan Diaz and Pacman should only consider Mayweather or retiring. His mom wants Pacman to retire and really other than fighting Floyd Jr, there is nothing to prove fighting anyone else (and he does have Congressional work to do now as well)...

        • manny would never do a catchweight with another boxer unless it benefits him, only him,,,,so jmm would have to go to 147,no less, even though manny can easily make 140,this fight will never happen, and if it doesn't who cares,i know that marquez beat him anyways,so it doesn't matter

                In that case,

                Manny v Floyd at 135,

                blood tests every day.

Not only Ariza but Manny and Freddie also. People wanna believe the hype but Manny wants no part of Marquez 3. Marquez has fought 24 rounds against Manny and he knows him very well. The moment that last fight was over Manny made it clear he didn't want a 3rd fight. The world would've much rather watched a 3rd Manny/Marquez than that Clottey BS we witnessed. Manny is clearly ducking fighters.
