Depends on how he does it, Cotto is fighting above his usual weight, and he's been in so many wars. Not to mention a beating against Pacquiao.

I would give him respect regardless if he wins, but how he does it is important.

I would because Yuri isn't an elite fighter in my eyes and its a fight that i think Cotto can win.

Of course I'm going to give the man his respect.

But he DID NOT fight a prime Cotto obviously, but you still gotta give the man his props if he does win.

            Of course.

But Foreman is a live opponent. He's a world champion and can outbox the smaller Cotto if he keeps on the outside. But like it's been pointed out, this is not Cotto in his prime and is uncharted waters for Cotto aswell so the respect is dwindled slightly in that aspect.

Seeing as I don't see any way he can win the fight, then yes of course I would give him all the respect in the world if he pulls this off.

The fact is - he is being fed to Cotto because the powers that be know he can't win, and they know Pacquiao can beat any version of Cotto.

Once Cotto takes this title, we'll see Pac Cotto 2 for that title at a catchweight, probably 150, and Manny will make some more artificial history thanks to snake oil salesman Bob douchebag Arum.

Don't buy into the Top Rank created hype - Foreman really has no chance.

This is like Khan vs Malignaggi. Who really, truly believe that Paulie could take out Amir? Paulie had a lot of support on this board, and it was all hype - there was no legitimate chance that he could beat Amir Khan (read all my posts pre-fight, I said Amir would win every round).

Same goes for this fight. Cotto isn't getting KO'd by Yuri, so Yuri is going to have to win 7 rounds, and the odds of that happening are slim to none.

                Cotto by KO.

I don't see Foreman winning 7 rounds either, BUT lets not disrespect Foreman...he isn't Alfonso Gomez or Michael Jennings. Foreman can dart in and out fairly well(albeit with no power), he has decent defense and is very smart.

Plus, we don't know exactly how Cotto is going to fare with the extra weight on him and we still don't know what the effects of the Pacquiao beating will have on him in the ring.

I still think it's going to be an entertaining fight(what Cotto fight isnt?), and would give Foreman props if he outboxes Cotto for 12 rounds.
