Id say Kahn's win was better. and more impressive.
yes, Malignaggi may not have been the same, but he was indeed more experienced. but i also felt that Kahn beat him up more. he landed a lot of punches and Malignaggi didnt seem to want to continue the fight, unlike the Hatton fight.

(note: its been a while since i watched Hatton-Malignaggi)

So id say Tough call. Toss up
am i missing something, hatton outboxed him to people.

Buddy Mcgirt stopped that fight prematurely, Malignaggi was pissed yet didn't complain when the ref stopped it when he fought Khan. Khan landed crisper cleaner shots on Malignaggi than Hatton and the Hatton fight was quite ugly to watch

I must be foregetting the Hatton fight, cos i dont remember Hatton mauling him, I remember Paulie initiating all of the clinches usually cos his legs were buckling, which were broken up quickly. Its been a long time since I've seen it so Im not 100%, but thats my memory of it.

Both beat him down badly, to me Hattons is more impressive cos Paulie was supposed to be able to outbox 1 dimensional Ricky and was beaten to the punch, were as Paulie was hand picked to make Khan look good (which worked 100%)

Just a reminder, in the round Hatton stopped Paulie, he was credited with landing no punches at all. He was destined to get knocked out in my opinion. McGirt knew it and so should anyone who saw it.

The issue is that as in all things in boxing, you are only as impressive as your last fight.

Hatton fought a year ago and lost while Kahn fought last week and won if that says anything............

Hatton's win was better he. He outboxed the boxer, nobody before the fight thought he could, Malignaggi could do nothing but hold. Malignaggi also hit Khan with cleaner shots than he did Hatton.

Khan's performance was better..He defeated Paulie at Paulie's own style..Ricky tried to bully Paulie, Khan outboxed and outclassed Paulie..
