I don't think he will just stand in front of Manny or be in the pocket with Manny with the high guard. I think he will fight off his jab, and counter right hand, also use his legs more and tie up Manny while on the inside. I think that pretty much will be his game plan. But, if he will shoulder rolling through most of the night. Then he would make it easier on Pac. High guard is the key but not stand just in front of Manny.

Against a southpaw with high volume, I think it would be better than the shell....

He doent just stand there like Clottey or even like Winky.

Its only to cover his face. He still goes form High-gurad to offense in a blink of an eye anyway. Its not like he just stands there and let people pound on him. He walks them down behind the jab and mainly the lead right and body punching.

More likeley he fights him the way Hopkins used to fight southpaws, by circling away from their left and using head movement, upperbody moves, and footwork, while dispensing of his jab and peppering Pacquiao with right hand leads. Pacquiao isn't the type a high guard works well against, he throws around and between your guard, and can break your guard with straight power shots.

A moving counterpunching high guard. He does it best. Mayweather dont hesitate to get off first and he does it with accuracy, also he wont be afraid to walk him down at times, because his guard is so strong, i dont think i have seen him hit with a 1-2, just seems to be one, then he moves, then will get off first, man is great.
