Miguel actually had some trouble with Paulie. He may have been weight drained though. Although 154 lbs. could be too big for him.
When Foreman gets stopped will you boxing experts shut the hell up.

hey check their not picking foreman cuz he's that good, their picking him cuz they think cotto is that shot. the post below is a prime example of what im saying...The so called boxing experts on this site keep harping that Foreman is too big and will be working the jab and beat Miguel. Hello, a bum is a bum and it isn't going to matter. My grandfather is 6'5" and is bigger, is he gonna kayo Cotto? You guys overrate the *** like none other, he isn't good at anything. What, Foreman can move around the ring, so now he's Whitaker or something? Miguel won't respect the Paulie of 154 and will blitz his ass and get him out of there, rather easily.
Also, I love the reasoning that Miguel is done because of his fight with Pacquaio. Hate to break it to you but Pac is a great fighter and does things that almost no fighter is capable of doing, certainly not Yuri Foreman.
I got all my e points that says skill and heart beat size any day. Lets ride, experts.

And that's the big problem. Miguel is not shot. Yes, Pac beat him but for 4 rounds he traded and did a good job but he got hit by a shot he didn't see. That **** can happen to any fighter. Foreman isn't sneaky quick like Pac, nor does he have the power to hurt Miguel. Miguel is gonna cut through this guy. Miguel may not be what he was but he is still leagues ahead of Yuri Foreman.Comment

its the boxingcene way, if cotto loses "you see i told you he's shot." if cotto wins, "foreman's a bum cotto was suppose to beat him" it aint just cotto it happens to all fighters that have haters. And that's the big problem. dont get me wrong though you cant exactly count out anybody. if the old cotto comes to fight on june 5th, then i expect the same results as you. but i think it will end up being a tough fight for cotto. And that's the big problem. Um who expected Cotto to walk through Clottey? Cotto was expected a guy who was never even knocked down in his career, has unbreakable defense and is a WW that comes in at 170 pounds on fight night? Yea, if you expected Cotto to walk through him you're just an idiot.I'm not calling Yuri the next Ray Robinson by any means, but the dude is indeed very skilled and I've seen him fight several times here in NY. Look how many people here thought Cotto was gonna walk through Clottey (who's not know as a puncher), and he barely escaped with a win. Size IMO in this fight will matter because Yuri isn't a flatfooted 1 dimensional fighter. Yuri unlike Paul Williams actually knows how to utilize his reach to his advantage, and he'll have the biggest advantage in that dept he's ever had.
Now, to play Devil's Advocate, what if Cotto does land hard shots to the body and is able to slow Yuri down? THEN I believe Cotto's chances of winning increase heavily.
But the one thing people need to ask themselves is, what will Cotto sacrifice moving up to 154? Speed? Power? Stamina? Again, I like Cotto and the dude has always been class, but he just may be over matched here.Comment

No offense, I just hate when people say he had "some trouble" with this guy. Paulie is faster than Foreman, and sadly probably has the same power as him. Paulie is better than Foreman, only thing that Yuri has going for him is the reach, and I'm pretty sure Cotto can overcome that, he has before.Comment

there are several things cotto has 2 do 2 win this fight. slow foreman down, rough him up inside, chop him down to size. to me it seems too much. my biggest concern with cotto was the bad habits he developed. steward talkin bout hes not tryin to change miguel but bring back the things he used to do which made him successful. come june 5th we'll see.Comment

Don't be ****** TS. This is boxing, so... styles make fights. And Foreman has a very difficult style for any fighter.
Foreman is bigger, stronger, and if he turns out to be faster too (which is possible at 154), Cotto is ****ed. Foreman is constantly on the move and is a solid counter and combination puncher. If Cotto doesn't have the foot speed and stamina to keep up with Foreman and enough power to hurt and/or wear him down, Cotto is ****ed.
If you understand the concept of styles, you'd realize how dumb completely ruling out Foreman is.Comment

Foreman is a live dog for sure, and let's face it there are some questions with Cotto right now.
I think it's a tough fight for both guys.Comment
