I'm tired of seeing Cotto get his ass handed to 'em. If Foreman wins all the rounds or KO's him, I want Miguel to retire for good. No more "comebacks"
If Cotto gets handled by Foreman...is he officially done??

If he gets beat down, yeah, he's officially done.
If he loses a close fight or get outboxed, then I wouldn't be quick to say so because I think he's the type of fighter who'll have problems against guys with a height advantage.Comment

You bring up a good point thouhg....I think many of us are talking about him getting a mad beatdown then being out.....but what if he loses a close fight?? I mean it's still a loss right???Comment

Cotto HAS to win this fight.
A loss whether it's close or a beatdown officially means he's done as a top fighter because Foreman to me is pretty average.
Stylistically Cotto has proven to handle movers well but he has never boxed a fighter who moved and was bigger than him. It will be interesting to see how he does.
I expect Cotto to win though. He may not be a natural 154 pounder and hasn't been the same mentally since Margarito but he is a level above Foreman and should win a clear decision/late stoppage.Comment

Yeah, but there will still be an assesment of how bad/good he was in that close fight. I don't Foreman has the mentality to give Cotto a brutal beatdown.Comment

The split between Cotto and his Uncle was the end of him.
Say what you want about his uncle but if you follow Cotto's career, he always had different game plans for different opponents. It's blatantly obvious that without His Uncle he lost that. He still had technique, but he looked completely clueless as to what plan to follow.
In the short amount of time Emanuel will be with him, I don't think it will help one bit. I think Cotto should of taken more time off and just worked with Emanuel for awhile before coming back.
This is a funny fight because no one really knows where Foreman or Cotto are at, at this point in their careers.Comment
