It was a good fight from Ortiz over all. As long as he fights like he did saturday, doesn't get careless and stays patient like he's always been, he'll be straight. When he gets sloppy, he gets ****** on.

I think he does need to work on finding more openings on his opponents though. Needs to work the body a lot more and make sure he keeps his D tight. Other than that he did a great job of pounding on Nate's guard. Campbell was wearing his gloves on his head like head gear all night, and was still catching a beating. Vic just forgot the rib cage after that. There more places he can rip than just the head, but that's Vic's style.

But whats this Safety first ****t you guys are talking about? Nate makes everyone he fights look like a safety first fighter because he's so akward. What Ive see fro vic since the maidana fight is that he's trying to stay disciplined and concentrate on fundamentals (which he still needs a little bit to work on). In my opinion it's that blood and guts warrior **** that got him in trouble against Maidana. He was outboxing the guy and dropping him all over the place but as soon as he got over agressive he left himself open and started to get blasted.
