I am pretty sure if Ortiz was fighting Malignaggi he would have stepped up the pressure as paulie has no pop and going after him would be much lower risk than going after Campbell. Likewise if Khan was fighting Campbell I would expect him to be happy to settle for a points win and take less risks.
    Exactly bro.

I agree somewhat but it wasnt all about Victor not trying to take Nate out. I dunno I just cant get my finger on it. Its like going into the fight with no complete fight strategy. It was more like using the same tactics in every round.

Vic doesn't know how to mix up his attack. The whole fight he was just head hunting and tryin to get through Nate's guard. He threw a body shot in the middle of the 6th that curled Nate up on the ropes, but that was one shot, and that was the end of that. He didn't follow up on that at any other point in the fight.

Ortiz confidence really is not that good mentally he is still raw and fragile after the Maidana beating. Going into the weekend I felt either Mitchell or Ortiz could lose and that one or both would lose. This was crunch time for Ortiz and Campbell has to power to hurt Ortiz. My guess is had Maidana not put that beating on Ortiz we would have seen a different person in there on Saturday. His strategy was fine. What you can't put your finger on is he is not mentally right yet. His confidence is low and he is preoccupied with not losing rather than winning.

Amir knew he had nothing to fear from feather fist Paulie. Nate Campbell can actually punch though, so two different animals.

True. Didnt see many combos from Victor like he used to do.
