  • I wouldn't mind seeing Pac/Floyd-Margarito

I just watched Margarito against Cintron (both fights), the Cotto fight, and a couple of others, and we forget....Margarito is a beast.

We don't know Margarito's state of mind going into the Mosley fight (but that was Mosley's greatest night), and the thing about a Margarito-Pac/Mayweather fight that really makes me excited....we already know that both fighters are more skilled than the Mexican....BUT

The thing that would make the fight so intriguing is to find how exactly both fighters would deal with a guy like Margarito. We know that Margarito is beatable, but to beat him we know you have to be a special fighter.

Of course, the more important fight is Mayweather-Pacquiao, but after that, I'm all for a Margarito-winner of May-Pac! Who's with me?

Floyd vs Margarito is not going to happen because Floyd is not fighting to see who the best is.

Or more likely it isn't happening because Floyd just easily beat the guy who KO'd Margarito. Not to mention that if Floyd ever does work with Arum again, that's not the opponent everyone has in mind.

I don't believe that. I don't think Margarito really knew about the plaster, and I also don't believe that he cheated before the fight against Mosley. Even the Nevada officials say Margarito didn't cheat, why would they lie?

Only reason Margarito is in line for Pac is his connection to Arum. He lost his luster with the scandal. No reason for Floyd to bother with him, at least not yet. If Margarito scored a big win or two, then sure why not? I don't expect him to get past Pac if it happens. Martinez beats him if that rematch happens too.
