Trinidad is the hardest puncher, undisputed!

Last night's fight between Taylor and Joppy answered a few questions. Is Taylor legit? Yes. Is Joppy shot? Probably, at least it's clear that he will never have a belt again. But I think you all have to agree that Trinidad is the most devastating puncher in the division, hands down. I'll tell you why. Well, let the facts tell you and you decide.

    May 2001, Trinidad-Joppy
Joppy was known to have a very good chin and was actually undefeated( if you forget about the questionable loss he had against JC Green). Trinidad dropped him 3 times including one in the first round. Trinidad wins by TKO in 5 rounds.

    November 2001, Joppy-Eastman
Eastman is able to drop Joppy only once in the last round. Joppy wins on points.

    December 2003, Hopkins-Joppy
Hopkins faces a Joppy who is clearly not the same he was when he faced Trinidad. Yet, Joppy goes the distance and was never dropped.

    November 2004, Taylor-Joppy
This is a Joppy who had not fought in almost a year. Taylor, a talented prospect, is getting Joppy three and a half years after Trinidad destroyed him. Yet, he only dropped him once and Joppy made the distance although he won only one round, in my opinion.

Result: Only Trinidad can brag because he is the only one to stop William Joppy in a career that includes almost 40 fights and covers more than 10 years.

No replies, interesting. If this was another Klitschko or Tyson thread, there would be about 50 replies.

I'd say the result was only Hopkins can brag as he handed Tito's ass to him.

trinidad might be the hardest puncher at middleweight.

I will say Tito is def. the hardest puncher in the middleweight division, But as far as p4p I think Kostya's right is as solid as anyone else in boxing.

Its well known im not a Tito fan, but one thing I will never question about him is his punching power. He hits as hard as anyone I have ever seen.

                  tito and KT

...tito aint pound 4 pound nothing...he got his ass handed by hopkins

(and even thought i hate to say it, by DLH also-dlh ***** ass ran, so we'll never know what could have happened)

KT as alwyas been here and didnt pull none of that retirement ****! to try to get more money or for whatever reason..so i repect KT more then tito...but i think tito has the best power at MW now...not hardest hitter in general p4p tho

Delahoya didn't come close to handing Tito his ass. I'd say Tito, Kostya Tszyu and R. Marquez are the top three punchers in no particular order.
