You really think so Horus? On the real no fan boy ****.
Honestly, joking aside.
I think Duran would have had a better chance at lightweight to beat Floyd rather than at Welterweight. Simply because @ WW Mayweather is Corba, he sits there and waits for every mistake you make, and strikes almost the second you make it.
he has enough power to make anybody think twice about opening up to much.
add to the fact he doesnt stand in one place long enough for substained ACTION, which Duran would have needed at Welterweight.
I think Duran would have Probably won 3 to 4 rounds at Most. Because
what would Duran Plan B be after Plan A surely doesnt work for him?
and After Plan B fails what would be his Plan C be?
We saw how his inability and lack of adjustments caused him to quit in the second Sugar Ray Leonard fight.
So what the hell is he going to do if he ever fought Floyd @ WW???
Like I said before, There are usually two different overall rhythmic forms, what I call the set-up rhythm
(preparing to punch or waiting to counterpunch, depending on the style of the boxer)
the rhythm of offensive motion and the rhythm of defensive motion.
However Floyd, like many great boxers varies these rhythms in subtle ways that are difficult for opponents to time, and he can seamlessly flow from one rhythmic form to the next without any break in the forms. Usually the opponent is not even aware that the transition has occurred until it is too late.
We saw this happen to all Floyd previous 40 opponents, and We saw to happen to Duran against SRL.
So how is it far off for me to say he might have quit against Mayweather also?
