He adapted to anything, I believe armstrong wouldve had his moments but for the most part SRR's intelligence and ring IQ wouldve taken it. It's just a myth that the term "pound-for-pound" was created for Ray.

Other fighters like Fitzsimmons and Canzoneri were called the best pound for pound in articles before Ray was called this.
