This is BS. before the fight Khan and Malignaggi were both given an 'A' for speed. Post fight, both were still given an 'A'.

Anyone who watched the fight could see that Khan was faster, how can Malignaggi be given the same speed rating as Khan? Ludicrous. Khan should be given an 'A+' for speed, Paulie an 'A'.

Paulie's power should be given a 'D' at best. And his defense, based on that fight, a 'C', Khan landed 40% of 600 shots, and 41% of his jabs.

Khan:
Speed = A+++, fastest p4p...no arguin tht

Power = B, Not one punch KO power, but enuf to batter ur opponent like we saw

Defense = B-, Double Guard very protective of his chin, but open to shots on the temple and face area...not alot of head movement

Stamina = A, Showed no signs of wear and tear in terms of coming forward/hand and footspeed at all in the fight

Jab Accuracy = A ... Right hand accuracy = C+ (needs to work on tht)

Boxing Skills = A

Aggression = 1st half of the fight = B- ... 2nd half of the fight = A

Chin = Yet to be seen

Overall = A- performance...pretty ****in amazing for a young 23 yr old who gktfo by a bum a couple of yrs ago

I believe the speed grades are correct. It wasn't about speed. This wasn't Pacquiao dancing circles around De La Hoya. This was two fighters of comparable speed with one having the advantage in height, length, timing and punch variation.

For an example, look at the first Vernon Forrest/ Shane Mosley fight. Forrest was nowhere near as fast as Mosley but, as he said, a jab neutralizes speed.

Now, with that in mind, Khan employed a solid jab to control Malinaggi's movement and intelligently moved in behind that jab to apply further damage. When Malinaggi began to start timing Khan in the earlier rounds and caught him with some solid jabs and flush check hooks, which landed right around the chin area (I think Malinaggi should have the lowest power grade possible), Roach started to coach Khan to step in behind a double jab. From there the damage began to pile on.

Khan was hit sure, but he was hit much less and managed to avoid alot more punches than Paulie and he still holds a lesser rating than Paulie?

Khan was faster than Paulie too, totally wrong.

Cliff Rold doesn't seem to like Khan very much. He states that Bradley and Alexander are much better fighters than Khan, but I don't think that is the case. I believe Khan to be the better, or at least comparable to Bradley and Alexander in boxing skills and ability. He has more speed than both fighters, and arguably more power than both too. Plus his jab and defence is superior to them both.

In my eyes, apart from the chin problem, Khan shares the top of the 140 division with Bradley and Alexander while the rest of the division look at them from below.
