its pain me to say this but warren is right, he does get big fights for his fighters. after the presscott ko khan was a nobody. warren got him a title shot right after a cut stoppage against a very old barrea, which is great promoting. if khan hadnt beaten an overrated slita and kot he would never have gotten onto GBP.

Frank’s not that bad.

Of course his slice is always a bit bigger than his stable would like, but they don’t have to be promoted by him. There are choices in this world.

Also, It was refreshing to hear that Frank helped Kevin Mitchell out financially during his time out with hand tendon problems, helping Kevin get away from working for TFL.

As promoters go, Frank is a slippery one, a snake, but a charmer with it. Remind you of anyone?!

Mitchell got Katsidis because he was perceived to be on his way down, and a winnable fight. If Mitchell won that fight, Warren would have protected his investment and put him against powderpuffs for a long, long while. If Khan stayed with Warren no way would he have been fighting Bradley, Alexander, or Maidana. Warren would have put him in with euro-level opposition for the foreseeable future.

As it happens Mitchell got KTFO, and Khan had a successful night against Malignaggi on his U.S debut. His next two fights will probably be Prescott in July, and Maidana in the fall. Mitchell's next two fights will be against domestic bums. Now tell me who would you rather be with...Goldenboy, or Warren?
