Saitama, Japan – WBA super featherweight champion Takashi Uchiyama (15-0, 12KOs) stopped Angel Granados (18-8) of Venezuela in the sixth round to retain his title at Super Arena. After losing every round, Granados was dropped 1:42 into the sixth round when he got caught with a strong hook.
