Prime Morales beats Manny up at 126-130 no question! P4P i consider manny the greater fighter but that's because manny hadn't really developed into the beast he is now, until he moved up in weight. he had to develop his skills, use his right hand, work on his balance, and just plain fight smarter!

But back to the original question. Yes Pac's nuthuggers have annoyed with their excuses on why manny lost the fight. Morales just plain schooled manny! It's no shame losing to morales... and hey he hasn't lost since then, so it obviously sparked him into changing and evolving!

Bro...I stated the same thing you just said and I'm a huge Pac fan. Morales was a beast, ATG, Hall of famer and legend in boxing. No shame in losing to him.

I don't think Floyd has come close to making the same amount of frivolous excuses as Pac. But, Floyd has never lost. We won't know what he will say or how he will behave when he loses, until he actually loses profesionally. As far as on an amateur level, he has lost before, the olympics come to mind. I don't recall Floyd making any ridiculous excuses about that fight even though he WAS robbed, so many points regarding that are moot in this thread..

What's with the strawman argument? An excuse implies duplicity and injured pride.. Floyd had a legitimate injury, and stated first that he wasn't making an excuse, just letting the fans know why he wasn't perhaps better in the fight.

Haven't read all 23 pages of this thread, but Morales won this fight because of his jab. Manny just could not deal with that jab. Great performance by Morales, the 12th round was amazing when he switched stances and fought Manny the whole round that way.
