Well it really doesn't result in anything meaningful regardless of who wins.

Both guys have beat the hell out of eachother and are near the end of their careers.

I predict the winner will end up a stepping stone for JuanMa or Gamboa as he is brutally sent into retirement.

I'm looking forward to it but the few people I've talked to about it think it seems a bit pointless and irrelevant. I don't know if that's a common opinion about it round here or not.

It's damn near sad. I can't even enjoy them beating on each other knowing how little they have to give. This fight unfortunately will ruin an all time great trilogy. I will watch it though.

I wonder how tickets are selling, since it's at Staples. Anyways, I'm excited but it isn't getting buzz because it doesn't lead to another big fight, people think both are ruined, or they don't want to see more harm done to either. As for me I'm excited and I'm actually just as excited to see Mares step up and see if he can be the real day. Best believe I'm tuning in.

if its 2-2 after, do they fight a decider?

If its anyhting like the 1st 3 fights it should be a belter. Wont be on in the UK im guessing though.

I dont know why they are having a 4th fight to be honest, They had 3. Vasquez won 2 of the 3 meaning he is the better fighter. I don't see the need for another fight but one thing is for sure and thats that it will be a great fight for boxing.

Because as good as the trilogy was this fourth one id complete overkill. Vasquez already won 2 out of 3 and they more than likely haven't beaten the hell of each others career. The third fight was like 2 years ago already no???? I mean what happens if Marquez wins, do they have a fifth and final deciding match???? Will it even stop at 5????? I hope and pray these guys are being well compensated and won't be paying for these brutal encounters long after they decide to hang them up. Unfortunately, more times than not there is no happy ending. Hopefully they'll both retire soon before being reduced to sacrificial lambs for young hungry lions looking to pad their resumes. I mean look at Morrales and Barerra its really sad that they are still fighting.
