the question really is, can khan take a flush maidana shot, if malignaggi was able to land some clean shots, then you'd have to think how would khan respond to a clean shot from maidana, because he is going to get hit, there is no question of that.


obviously khan is more skilled in boxing, but maidana fights, and gets guys in a shoot out with him because he fights and fights hard, he's easy to hit, but maidana has the ability to get guys to stand and throw punches all the while he's great at throwing with his opponent.

its a fight that i would like to see.

i have to admit that, khan is skilled and exciting, but in reality, half of that excitement is to see whether he can take a punch or not, and that it what makes the maidana match up so demanding..............

if maidana is so easy, why didn't they just fight him first? I think secretly freddie knows its a hard fight and he may just be trying to get in maidana's head. I like maidana by stoppage if they ever fight, but honestly i dont think its going to happen. I see alexander fighting maidana cuz thats a favorable matchup for him. Khan wont fight a big name for atleast a year. He'll probably fight some lightweights.

Roach is usualy never wrong with his predictions, and i have to agree with him here as well. If Khan uses his jab and movement, maidana will have a hard time doing much against him. Working for maidana is that his power against Khan (whose chin is still debatable) could change the fight with 1 big punch. Khan is no punk though, i'm starting to respect him his skills. If his toughness reaches the level of those skills, then we have a real star in the making folks!

I agree Khan is a con. When Maidana hits him he's going to sleep. He's not ready for the big boys @140. Bradley and Alexander with smoke his ass. Kellerman said it best when he said Khan has an excellent matchmaker. They talk but their not gonna put him in with none of the big dawgs no time soon.
