i mentioned how the belts dont mean anything in an earlier post But if Floyd fights for the 160Lb belt it would mean something. and it would be really easy to sell the fight to the people if Floyd fought a very Hot middleweight champion that is a pound for pounder rather than a guy that got dominated after the first few rounds against Pacquiao, you know what I mean.

Like for Floyd Fighting the Guy that Pac already beat wouldnt really do much for Floyds career.

Dont get me Wrong, I would love for Cotto to be the guy that Beats Mayweather and I probably would do everything in my power to be in attendance that day.

But to the general Public I think simple logic saying a smaller Pac who roughed this guy up and then May (most likely only getting a decision) would leave his rep as avoiding the top guys and only fighting guys when they are past their prime or done completely, still on alot of peoples lips.

I wouldnt complain at all. I always felt floyd ducked Cotto when he retired. I would give floyd more credit than the Mosley fight.

If he cant get the deal done for Pacman it would be a good tune up kinda fight before moving up to middleweight to get himself another WBC in that weight class.

When i say tune up i dont mean any disrespect to Cotto or Foreman, they both could cause problems for Floyd in their own ways but assuming he gets through them it would be a good step up in weight instead of jumping 2 weight classes in one fight similar to what Juan Manuel Marquez did against him.

Yes, we will complain, ***** and moan.

Then say the winner of Cotto/Foreman doesn't belong in the ring against Floyd because Floyd is big for a JMW and he handled ODLH at that weight.

And just downplay it as Foreman isn't good enough and Cotto is shot to ****.

Let's be honest here... that's how it will go.

They will never give Floyd credit. It has nothing to do with reality. They hate Floyd because of who he is, not what he's done. If Floyd knocked out Wlad Klitschko, they would find an excuse to hate him for that too.
