it was a close fight. it was not a robbery. u guys dnt kno the meaning of the word robery. it could have gone either way and the judges happened to score it for floyd. big deal. floyd fought castillo again and beat him. he wasnt tryna run, he didnt hide behind the judges. give him his props and move on. stop the hate.
i dnt even get what the point of bringin this up is. there are other things to hate on. dnt hate on a close fight that happened 10 yrs ago.Comment

7 rounds Castillo, 4 rounds mayweather and 1 even.
A lot of booing in the post fight
Jim Lampley says " not the fight we saw" after the announcement that Floyd won. Stating how it should have been Castillo.@ 4:18.
Compubox numbers @ 4:37
Landed: 203 for Castillo
157 for Floyd

I'm a huge Floyd fan but I gave Castillo the first fight by one point...but here the thing, who gives a phuck what I or any poster on this forum think about that fight!!!
It is our opinion that Castillo won...the only opinion that count were the three judges who are more qualified to judge fights than us and they had Floyd winning.
As of right now, the record books say that Floyd is undefeated and there is nothing we can do about it whether we think he loss or not. We can't change the records books but if you think you can, please send a link of this thread to fightfax and see their response.
You are mad because he bragging that he's undefeated, I would too....who in their mind would admit to losing a fight if the fight was remotely close (which this one was)...but to top it all off, he gave Castillo a rematch and removed all doubt.
Floyd undefeated record is part of his marketablity and let be real...Calzaghe, Berto, Bradley, Dawson, Guzman have bragged about being undefeated....It's normal, don't be mad. You guys are only mad because it's Floyd doing...all those fighters that I've just named have had close fights too that could have gone either way...where are the threads on them bragging.Comment

He got beat before so he can be beat again. That's all.
people see him as some great boxer that can't be beat. But He can after all someone did beat him before.. he lost once in many people's eyes in the Castillo fight. that's all there is to it brah. His being undefeated is a illusion lol
Just my 2 cents.Comment

lol your avatar is so gay.. But no one is mad hear. Just stating a fact that his not invincible as to how some people perceive him.

That cool but your two cent is just that...your opinion. No boxer is unbeatable but the problem is that nobody has yet to come along and hand Floyd his first official PROFESSIONAL boxing loss on paper.
There are some people that think Floyd lost to De La Hoya but again, every last opinion in this thread (mine's included) mean nothing...the only opinion that matter that night were three judges and we will never be able to think that.
Do you think Floyd is losing sleep by thinking some posters (myself included) think he lost to Castillo...HELL NO.
The record show that he has 39, 40 or 41 wins ...who cares? There 0 on the side.Comment

Floyd keeps on saying he has a perfect record.
But does he really have a perfect record?
Or a flawed perfect record?
Watching Floyd vs Castillo 1, you can see who won in that fight really.
If you watch this link @ 2:59 Leddermans scorecard 115-111 for Castillo
7 rounds Castillo, 4 rounds mayweather and 1 even.

Larry Merchant says to Floyd a lot of people here think He (castillo) won the fight, that he should get a rematch.
@ 0:47
Larry Merchant goes," I don't think there is much controversy. I think most people thought Castillo won."
@ 1:06
Larry Merchant goes, "Arum and I believe that Castillo won the fight."
Knowing that Castillo was Robbed, Mayweather has a questionable perfect record. Should have had a loss.
He keeps on bragging he has a perfect record when clearly he should have a loss in his record against Castillo.
So the saying should go, 41 had tried 1 has succeeded that is Castillo. The first to beat Mayweather.
He keeps on yapping he has a perfect record when we all know it is blemished. It is not how perfect your record is. It is how good your opponent and challenges that you face. All the legends had a defeat in their career, It doesn't , make them a lesser man.
But if a yapper keeps on bragging a questionable perfect record.. It just shows how insecure he is about his ability.
Even the commentators who were unbiased had PBF losing.Comment

He did beat Castillo hard to remove any doubt in the 2nd fight. Also Merchant have always been very critical of Floyd.Comment

Your right it's been the history of boxing it's about making money.
Floyd had a perfect record when he was about to fight Castillo.
The boxing people where building him up to be great.. Hence, a lot of money was riding in him so there you go. It makes sense that floyd wins, coz there building him as the next best thing. They will lose money if he had lost.
Money wise, Floyd have a clean record. Money makes sens if they keep it that way. And that is why castillo lost.
To beat Floyd you have to floor him. And that possible someone is Pac. Coz if it's by decision no foreigner will win if it goes 12 fact. Coz we all know his american it big fights are in american soilComment
