He signed with Banner and Shaw. I cant find the Showtime article. HBO wouldve been a better fit.

Are you sure he's with Showtime? I thought right when Tszyu left, that was like Showtimes last fight at having multi fight contracts. They said they would then just do it on a fight by fight basis. I think they still hooked up with some guys but I dont think they give out big or long term contracts anymore. He could probably fight an HBO guy next or atleast in the fight after

If HBO puts up the most money (and best opponent), you'd better believe that's where Dzinziruk fight. No doubt that HBO noticed his stellar performance Friday.

He's not signed to Showtime. Showtime is just the only American cable network that would actually air Dzinziruk-Dawson. And as a main event at that...

Just because Dzinziruk signed with Shaw doesn't mean he's signed with Showtime.

Showtime largely doesn't do fighter contracts anymore. The last one I can recall was the Antonio Tarver deal when they were working toward Tarver-Dawson.

EDIT: The Super Six fighters, too, as one poster correctly points out below.

Im trying to find artcile. Maybe your right. I saw his performance and thats the first thing that popped into my head. After that fight people would want to see him fight Angulo, Williams, etc..

I'm telling you, there's no Showtime contract for Dzinziruk. It would've been dumb for them to shell out money and only "feature" him on ShoBox.
