If only Amir Khan had a chin.

Aftyer rewatching last nights action I have to say the skills on this kid, who hasn't hit his peak yet, and is getting better fight by fight is remarkable. The speed, of feet and hands is great, the accuracy of his shots are splendid, , and his power is there; he is also entertaining. However one thing you can not fix completely is the wiring of your brain, aka your chin. I expect Khan to have a very solid career, and suffer a few minor setbacks along the way that would not occur if he had a better chin. I wish Amir good luck in his career, and he is an asset to british boxing.

Like you said, there is an incredible raw talent and skill base there, the only question about whether Khan will be an easy top 5 p4p fighter is his chin.

If Khan had a solid chin, he would be the future P4P king of this sport.

meh, maiana sucks imo, and Ortiz has a bad chin, and to top that off, he lacks heart.

He might be like Roy Jones Jr. When Roy Jones Jr, like Achilles, was a infant God dipped him in a magical river. While god dipped Roy he was holding him by his chin. So the magical river water never touched his chin. Thus the story of Roy Jones Jr.

It's a shame i think if the kid even he a semi average chin he could be one of the best of the next 10 years or so. Who knows maybe going up in weight may help his punch resistance.

I dont think Maidana and Ortiz are very good either but they all have certain things that can trouble Khan.

                    Maidana: Power, toughness and pressure.

Ortiz: Southpaw stance, big left hand, speed, power and boxing ability.
