    Paulie Malignaggi

Even after yesterday's fight. I'm still a fan. I'm not a fan of the man himself. he's too arrogant for my taste amongst a host of other things. As a fighter....I like the guy, yes he has flaws (BIG FLAWS) but I still like his fight style, skill, slickness......and just feel bad for him in that he was dealt a bad hand in boxing. he has brittle hands. I honestly believe if it wasnt for his hands and had a bit of power he would be damn near ATG. The man has skill, fight style (not boring to watch, if you're a fan of boxing), speed, a chin (hugely underrated) and love him or hate him people want to see him. His flaw with his hands is what has held him back. I believe this is the truth. If it wasn't for his lack of power and brittle hands, he would be up there, definitely. This has held him back. Thoughts?

I agree also! If he had some real knockout power in his hands
he would be the man! he also would be more confident and would attack more!

Exactly, I just disagree with people calling him a bum/nobody/a never was......that's far from it. He was and is the man. he was just dealt a bad hand. Straight up

Paulie hurt his hand early in his career and basically has to keep getting surgery just to fight. Calzaghe also hurt his hand, Floyd too. Thee three fighters had to change their styles to be suitable with their broken hand. Calzaghe and Mayweather obviously adjusted to it better. Paulie's style is not for someone with a broken hand. He had to fight like Williams/Calzaghe, just keep throwing and throwing 100s of punches and hope to win on volume punching. But he potshots and tip toes which is bad for him against Khan's style. I wouldn't call his career over right after he broke his hand, I think it's more that he picked the wrong style to use.

B class fighters are good. A class fighters are great. So if you want to diss Paulie you gotta call him a C class fighter.
